The Texas Military Forces Museum has embarked upon an ambitious Master Plan to bring our facility into the 21st Century. Phase I of this project has just been completed at a cost of 2.2 million dollars. This phase placed a new roof on the museum, restored important aspects of its historic architecture, created and improved collections storage, archival and library spaces, installed compact storage systems in the gun vaults and library, covered the entire building with fire alarm and fire suppression systems, and made many other improvements.

The Texas Military Forces Historical Foundation has commenced a Capital Campaign to raise an additional 4 million dollars. These funds will be used to complete the remaining phases of the master plan as well as create a 1 million dollar operational endowment to ensure the museum’s ability to continue to operate as a state-of-the-art institution well into the future.

In addition, donations to specific exhibits such as the Civil War Exhibit, Texas Air National Guard Gallery, Texas Navy, 36th Infantry Division Gallery or others are always welcome. Please note it you would like your donation to fund a specific area or exhibit.

All donations to the Texas Military Forces Museum are tax deductible and will be acknowledged by the Foundation. Opportunities for special recognition and naming privileges for significant gifts are available.

With YOUR SUPPORT we can provide our veterans and the men and women wearing the uniform today with the museum they deserve and our fellow citizens a free and compelling educational resource for our community and state.
